Do you have to tryout for one of the Gait Cup teams?
No, you do not have to try out for one of the Gait Cup teams.
How are the teams split up?
Teams will be made up regionally. Players from the same state will be on the same team. There is also a certain allotment of players per position on each team. There will be 2 goalies, 4 attackmen, 5 defensemen, and 7 midfielders.
FCA is a Christian Ministry, so will there be any huddle studies as part of these teams?
Huddles will be a part of the team experience. There will be two huddle meetings a day and the team will be split into two different groups giving them one coach per group to make it a smaller group.
Are there any team practices before the Gait Cup?
With players coming together from all over the country for some teams, teams will not practice prior to the tournament. There are practices however built into the Gait Cup schedule.
Are trainers provided?
Yes, the tournament makes trainers available to handle injuries.
Are PG's eligible to play?
Yes, players taking a post-graduate year can play.
What should I bring with me to the tournament?
▪ Gettysburg will provide small pillows and basic blankets, but we suggest you bring your own bed linens, blankets and pillows for personal comfort.

▪ Spending Money - $45 - $60 dollars is suggested for the camp store to purchase sticks, clothing, sports drinks, etc. There will also be an opportunity for campers to order pizzas every night.
