Boston, MA- San Francisco Dragons selected Michael Hurley with 32nd overall pick in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) supplemental draft Wednesday. Hurley, a First-team All-American midfield at Salisbury University, helped the Sea Gulls reach the NCAA Division III Finals in 2006.
Hurley will help strengthen the Dragons midfield unit as the attempt to win the western conference, where they finished 3rd in the 2007 season. When asked about being drafted Hurley responded "I am very excited about the chance to play for the San Francisco Dragons and the MLL. Ever since I was a boy, I have dreamed of becoming a professional athlete, and now I'm blessed to say that I have that chance."
Hurley joins the growing ranks of FCA Lacrosse alumni competing in the MLL. |
