Elias is simply one of the all-time greats in Ivy football. The 1993 Ivy League player of the year not only holds every major rushing record at Princeton, where he starred from 1991 to 1993, he also claims some distinction in the League.

Elias holds Ivy records for most career points (320) and touchdowns (52.)  He is the only Ivy Leaguer to post two 1,500-yard seasons.  Elias led the nation in rushing as a junior (157.5) and upped that per game average to 170.1 as a senior. In all, he rushed for 4,208 career yards (more than 140 per game).

He also had a productive NFL career. In 1997, the New York Giants named Elias as the team’s Unsung Hero and in 2000, playing for the Indianapolis Colts, he was the captain of the special teams unit.
